Location: Romford, Essex, Basildon, Southend-on-sea
Pay: £13.00–£14.75 per hour
Full-time / Part-time available

Northspire Careers are currently recruiting for an Activities Coordinator to join a care home team in Essex.

You’ll help create meaningful, enjoyable activities for residents, encouraging social interaction, independence and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan and organise activities for residents
  • Encourage residents to participate in activities
  • Organise individual and group sessions
  • Support residents with hobbies and interests
  • Work closely with care staff and families
  • Maintain a welcoming and engaging environment

About you:

  • Friendly, creative and approachable
  • Patient and compassionate
  • Confident communicating with older people
  • Previous care or activities experience is desirable
  • Understanding of dementia and person-centred care is an advantage
